Lumber Associates are responsible providing legendary customer service. They offer solutions to our customers' needs.

Lumber Associate responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Support with product deliveries and pick-ups, yard and warehouse activities
Help with the maintenance and cleanliness of the lumberyard, ensuring that stacks of wood stay neat and that the yard has a clean appearance
Have ability to lift heavy cartons from the floor to overhead racks
Front and face merchandise on shelves as directed by their manager

Customer Service:
Customer service is priority one at all times
Each customer must be greeted with a smile and asked, "What can I help you find today?"
Always walk the customer to all products
Make certain the customer has everything they need for their project

Minimum Requirements

Lumber and building material product knowledge is a plus
Must be able to operate fork-lift load and unload lumber when needed
Vast knowledge of hardware related products and home projects a plus
Willingness and ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs

The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
The ability to see and read product labels, dispense product knowledge, and communicate with customers
Manual dexterity; assembly of some products; ability to quickly make appropriate change for customers
Ability to stand for an extended period of time
Bending, climbing, and twisting are routine; the position requires the ability to retrieve, stock, and move product
Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds
