Social Media & Marketing Intern – Hands-On Startup Experience
Company: Visibly
Location: Remote (with in-person content days with other interns ~2x/month in San Diego)
Time Commitment: ~10 hours/week, Spring 2026 Semester (Jan–May 2026)
Hours: Flexible (work around your class/job schedule)
Compensation: Unpaid (primarily for experience). Commission opportunities available for standout contributions, such as content that gets high views or getting an influencer to feature us.
About Visibly
Visibly is a new phone case brand with an innovative twist: our cases feature a built-in wide-angle mirror designed for the back camera, making it easy to film content, take better selfies, and create polished videos. We launched in Fall 2025 and are now getting some early traction. About Me
I’m Blake Meyers,, a 2020 graduate from SDSU where I was part of the entrepreneurship program. Since then, I’ve worked for several startups and recently broke off to launch Visibly, applying everything I’ve learned along the way. You’ll work directly with me and a small team of interns in a startup-style environment, getting hands-on experience across different areas of marketing and business.
About the Role
This is a hands-on internship where you’ll learn by doing. You’ll get to explore different areas of business and marketing, with the flexibility to focus on what interests you most. If you enjoy social media and don’t mind being on camera, you’ll be a good fit.
What You'll Work On
- Content & Social Media: Brainstorm and film TikToks/Reels (comfortable being on camera), find trending audios, edit product photos and videos, design Instagram Stories and posts
- Meta Ads: Help create ads we can run across Instagram and Facebook (brainstorm hooks, help film clips, and learn what makes an ad convert)
- Influencer & PR Outreach: Research and reach out to creators, sororities, and campus orgs to spread brand awareness
- E-Commerce Operations: Help update Shopify product photos, captions, and website content
- Marketing Analytics: Track content performance, ads, and customer demographics
- Creative Projects: Design graphics in Canva, assist with email marketing, product photoshoots, SEO research, or site CRO testing

- SDSU/UCSD/San Diego students (preferred)
- Majors/experience in: Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship, PR, Communications, Graphic Design, Photography/Videography
- Creative, organized, motivated students excited to learn by doing
- Students who are interested in social media and comfortable being on camera
