Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Laser Trim Operator on 1st shift (Monday – Thursday 4:30am – 3:00pm). Overtime is available as needed.
Job Summary: Operates laser equipment for the manufacturer of resistors.

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.
What you will be doing:
Watches bridge to make sure it is trimming to correct value. Makes necessary adjustments on trimming to correct value. During cleaning, will visually inspect laser cut quality and perform SPC functions.
Enters set-up into computer.
Sets comparator on bridge to match the correct test sets.
Loads raw material reel on to machine with correct wire size.
Feeds strip into laser and makes necessary adjustments.
Operates an average of 20 Lasag Lasers and ESI Traveling Bridge.
Performs equipment set up and calibration
Perform routine preventive tasks
What you will bring along:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to accurately interpret specifications.
Ability to stand during entire shift.
Ability to handle and lift up to 20 pounds.
