Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay EFI is currently seeking applicants for a Pick and Place Operator. The Pick and Place Operator is responsible for setup and operation of pick and place machines and hand picking parts. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated individual looking to start or continue growing a career in manufacturing.
Job Location:
Vishay Electro Films is located in the beautiful ocean state of Rhode Island in the city of Warwick. There are 92 employees across three shifts working at our 57,000 sq. ft. facility of manufacturing space. This role is an on-site position.
What you will be doing:
- Sets up and operates pick and place machines.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications.
- Enter all pertinent information required into production logs and complete work travelers and routers.
- Conduct visual inspection of pick and placed parts.
- Will work with microscopes.
- Assumes the ability to read blueprints and interpret production orientation specifications.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Ability to read internal process instructions.
What you will bring along:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Excellent hand eye coordination and finger dexterity required.
- Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts.
- Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to details.
- Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude.
