Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Supervisor.
Job Location:
Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!
What you will be doing:
- Supervise facility including ensuring related departments (e.g. equipment maintenance) maximize production equipment availability
- Supervise technicians in production equipment repair and maintenance
- Oversee compliance to corporate and legal requirements, interface with outside agencies/vendors
- Track and maintain maintenance KPIs against targets
- Investigate, plan, and implement facility and production equipment upgrades
- Maintain spare parts inventory
What you will bring along:
- Associates degree or equivalent in a related discipline
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience coupled with experience in building electrical systems, compressed air systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment including general equipment electrical controls, pneumatics, and equipment mechanicals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Math and computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities required
- Collaborative mindset and curiosity to drive continuous improvement
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $90,000 a year
