Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a SMD Test Pack Operator – 1st Shift (Monday – Thursday 4:30am – 3:00pm).
Job Summary: Packing Surface Mount resistors into reels or bulk packages including any of the following product types – WSL, WSLM, WSK, WSC, WSF, and WSH product types. Job Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE.
We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area. What you will be doing: Operates two packing machines, weigh scale, bar code printer and mainframe terminal. Set up computer to packing and testing specifications noted on production card. Set counters. Run out leader tape. Places resistors into syntron bowl (Test pack or Tokyo Weld machines) or load resistor sticks to table (stick to tape machines). Starts machine by pressing keyboard button. Operates machine until the quantity desired is packed. Runs out carrier tape tail to wind around end of reel. Removes finished reel from machine. If order quantity requires more than what is on reel, operator goes through previous procedures. What you will bring along: High School Diploma or equivalent One to three months manufacturing experience
Ability to stand during entire shift.
