Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing product information as needed.
- Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process refunds as required.
- Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring that products are neatly arranged and easily accessible.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area, stockroom, and parking lot.
- Provide support to other team members as needed, including covering shifts or helping with special projects.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or stocker is an asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with a point-of-sale system.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
