PRN PACU nurse

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Recovery Room RN to join our small plastic surgery office. The position would be as needed, a few times per month. We need coverage on a rotating schedule M, W, F. This position requires a compassionate, detail-oriented professional with excellent multitasking abilities to thrive in a dynamic, small-team environment. Required Experience: · Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in WI.· ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a PACU or critical care nurse (experience in plastic surgery or outpatient surgery preferred but not required). Desired Skills/Qualifications: · Caring and honest (high character a must)· Proactive work ethic· Professional demeanor· Compassionate bedside manner and ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small office environment.· Strong knowledge of perioperative protocols and patient assessment for discharge. Duties: Postoperative assessment and care for patients who have undergone general anesthesia or sedation procedures.Coordinate with anesthesia providers and surgeons to ensure seamless patient care after procedures.Administer medications or treatments as prescribed by the physician.Coordination of care between the OR and clinic. Position Details: Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin, United StatesPosition Type: PRNWork week: a few days per month 4-8 hr shiftsStarting wage: Negotiable DOEBenefits: None Company DescriptionAnand Patel, MD founded Visage Facial Plastic Surgery in 2014 with the vision of creating a boutique practice that made patients feel at home.
