Job Description
The Acceptance Solutions Payer Interface team is looking for a talented QA engineer to drive the quality and evolution of the Kernel in the Cloud platform. The candidate will work closely with product owners and the team to develop a test plan for each feature. The test cases will be automated using Java. You will work closely with other teams to help define quality standards and best practices.
We are looking for someone with serious quality and development skills and a passion for delivering secure, high quality, highly available services.
Essential Functions
- Execute test plans and track test results on regular basis and drive team to improve the process.
- Work with Project Managers, Product Owners, Developers and Quality Engineers to ensure that a high-quality product is delivered
- Understanding the project and product requirements.
- Drive test solutions in terms of test coverage, test methodologies and automation
- Setup, configure, and maintain test environments
- Collaborate with development team to analyze, debug and resolve design and code issues
- Utilize generative AI to help automate testing
- Willing to learn new technologies and work on multiple products
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree, OR 5 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
•3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree
•Experience with web services standards and related technologies (HTTP, JSON, REST)
•Experience with Android Application Testing and Junit Framework
•Solid understanding and experience of database technologies such as SQL
•Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design. (required)
•Ability to write code in Java (required)
•Strong problem solving skills
•Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills
•Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments in an environment that requires multitasking among concurrent projects
•Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new initiatives
•Have experience working in an Agile environment.
•Proven ability to work and have fun in a team environment
•Knowledge or experience in payment industry a plus

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 88,200.00 to 124,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
