Position Summary:

VIS LLC is seeking a proactive, skilled, and quality-driven Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our fast-paced Distribution Center team. This role is pivotal to our “One Order Flow” execution strategy, where fulfillment speed, accuracy, and minimal handovers drive customer satisfaction and sales velocity. The successful candidate will be more than an operator—they will be a flow enabler, trained across multiple functional areas, empowered to make process decisions, and accountable for delivering results in a time-sensitive logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Multi-Zone Fulfillment Ownership: Operate across all core areas of the distribution process—including picking, packing, staging, and shipping—to drive efficient order flow with minimal touchpoints.
• Order Picking & Inventory Accuracy: Accurately retrieve merchandise using handheld devices and maintain 99% picking accuracy. Engage with real-time inventory systems to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory reconciliation.
• Quality-Driven Packing: Independently assess and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring durability, weight optimization, and presentation requirements are met
• Shipping & Documentation Compliance: Generate domestic and international shipping labels, manifests, and compliance documentation using WMS and TMS platforms. Partner with carriers and 3PLs to ensure on-time performance metrics are achieved.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, cherry pickers, tall order pickers) to access inventory in racked and mezzanine storage systems.
• Real-Time Problem Solving: Identify and escalate inventory or order flow disruptions. Partner with supervisors and Value Stream Managers to execute quick resolutions that minimize downstream delays.
• Process Adherence & Continuous Improvement: Support lean practices by reducing WIP, documenting process gaps, and participating in routine quality and flow audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2 years of experience in Distribution Center or fulfillment operations, logistics, or a similar environment, with demonstrated multi-functional capabilities.
• Proficiency with tablets, scanners, and inventory management systems.
• Experience operating lifting equipment such as forklifts, tall order pickers, cherry pickers, and other Distribution Center-related machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality control standards.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities.
• Familiarity with shipping processes and third-party logistics coordination.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

This role operates in a dynamic and fast-paced Distribution Center environment. Responsibilities require standing, walking, lifting, and frequent communication with team members to meet operational demands and uphold the "One Order Flow" principle.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
