What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pega LSA position at Virtusa?
Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) responsible for architecting and designing business
applications using Pega PRPC and Pega frameworks.
Experience (8 years) in delivering Pega projects with hands on experience in DCO, enterprise
Architecture design, class structure design, Data model and Process flow design based on
business requirements.
Preferably Certified Pega Lead System Architect (Part 1 and 2)
Exposure to at least few of the Pega Strategic Applications such as Pega Customer Service,
Pega Marketing, or Pega Industry specific applications.
Exposure/Knowledge of CDH and Pega Marketing will be an advantage.
Experience leading medium to large teams and enforcing Pega Best Practices & guardrails
across the development teams.
Experience in analyzing performance of the application using Alerts, logs, advanced SMA, etc.
Optimize application performance by employing performance tuning methods and using system
performance techniques and tools.
types and Core Java Programming (experience in J2EE will be an advantage).
Exposure to implementation of integration with any content management system.
Knowledge in Mobility implementation, integration with social platforms.
Have good knowledge of product creations, ruleset management and deployments to higher
environments.
Knowledge of dev-ops usage in Pega would be added advantage.
Provide thought-leadership to client across business and technical project dimensions solving
complex business requirements.
Adopt existing Client Design Patterns and recommendations based on POCs.
Strong experience scoping, planning and delivering projects using iterative software
development lifecycles over multiple release cycles
Experience working with any of the Servlet containers or Enterprise containers like Jakarta
tomcat, BEA Web logic, IBM WebSphere JBOSS. Should have knowledge in using any of the
mentioned servers like deployment, configuring & troubleshooting
Solid fundamentals in Core Java & Object-Oriented concepts
Excellent skills in any of the RDBMS tools like Oracle, MSSQL, DB2 or Sybase. Should be
proficient in SQL commands
Experience in client-side technologies like HTML, Java Script and CSS.
Knowledge in web services, JMS, Middleware tools (like Web Methods, Vitria), Web frameworks
(like Struts, spring), Design Patterns (like MVC I, MVC II etc).
