Virtus Healthcare Staffing is searching for talented and compassionate Respiratory Care Practitioners and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioners to join our partner, a leading medical center in Richland, WA. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in providing respiratory care in an acute care setting. We are offering a hiring bonus of $20,000 for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment.

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will be a key member of the healthcare team, managing and treating patients with respiratory conditions. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks including providing breathing treatments, managing ventilators, and responding to codes. The senior role requires greater experience and is ideal for professionals seeking to take on a more advanced clinical role. Both positions are full-time, working 36 hours per week with variable shifts.

We are currently hiring for two distinct roles based on experience level.

This full-time position is ideal for a respiratory therapist with foundational experience.

• Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.

  • A Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required upon hire.

  • A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.

  • A National Provider ACLS from the American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire.

  • A National Provider PALS from the American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited educational institution.

  • At least 1 year of experience in an acute care medical setting.

This full-time position is for an experienced professional ready to take on advanced responsibilities.

• Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.

  • A Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required upon hire.

  • A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.

  • A National Provider ACLS from the American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire.

  • A National Provider PALS from the American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire.

  • A minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience in an acute care medical setting is required.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited educational institution.

  • Recent experience in a NICU, adult CCU, or open-heart setting.
