Position Summary
Virtus Health is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Marketing & Development
Manager to lead the organization's growth, marketing, outreach, referral development
and multi-site strategic initiatives. Virtus’ Marketing & Development Manager will serve
as a key driver of company growth by increasing new clients, relationships within the
community, developing brand awareness, strengthening referral networks, and
supporting executive leadership in executing growth strategies across channels in all
markets.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of developing long-term
growth plans while also managing day-to-day marketing efforts, community engagement,
and business development activities. This position plays a critical role in expanding access
to ABA services for children, increasing client census, supporting new center growth, and
strengthening Virtus Health's presence within the market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Business Development
- Lead and partner with leadership to develop and execute company marketing and
growth strategy.
- Ensure growth initiatives and KPIs are met monthly and annually.
- Identify opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and new market development.
- Track, analyze, and report market trends, competitor activity, referral patterns,
and community needs.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to increase client enrollment and center
utilization.
- Lead growth meetings and provide recommendations based on market data.
Marketing & Brand Management
- Develop and execute annual marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage Virtus Health branding across all platforms and locations.
- Create and oversee marketing campaigns that increase awareness of ABA services.
- Develop and coordinate digital marketing efforts including website content, SEO,
social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all locations and materials.
Community Outreach & Referral Development
- Initiate, develop, and maintain referral relationships with pediatricians,
psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, schools, physicians, case
managers, and community organizations.
- Maintain regular communication with referral sources and strategic partners.
- Ensure growth goals are met monthly.
- Represent Virtus Health at community events, networking opportunities,
conferences, and industry meetings.
- Coordinate and work with team to execute center events, open houses,
educational events, and community engagement initiatives.
- Create outreach plans for each market to support sustained growth.
Lead Generation & Census Growth
- Develop strategies to increase client referrals and reduce waitlist barriers.
- Monitor referral pipelines and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with operations and clinical teams to support client onboarding and
growth initiatives.
- Track lead generation metrics, referral source performance, and enrollment
trends.
- Provide leadership with regular reporting on growth initiatives and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications,
Healthcare Administration, or related fields.
- 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, outreach, or
growth-focused leadership roles.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, pediatric healthcare, or other
medical services
- Demonstrated success growing client census, referrals, and revenue through
marketing, development, and outreach initiatives.
- Proven experience developing referral networks and driving business growth.
- Experience developing, executing, and measuring strategic growth plans.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Experience developing messaging to print, digital, and social marketing audiences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Professional, trustworthy, and credible representative of the organization.
- Ability to lead others with integrity and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft software, social media and marketing
platforms, websites and online platforms, and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working specifically within ABA, autism services, or behavioral health.
- Knowledge of physician referral development and healthcare marketing processes
and regulations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and industry-specific regulations.
- Experience supporting large, multi-site organizations.
