Established Pain Management Practice seeking a Physician’s Assistant to join our growing team. As a Physician’s Assistant, regardless of experience in this field, you would be required to work closely with our Double Board Certified Medical Director, so bring your team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important. Provider should be in good standing with governing board and able to participate in State and Federal Government programs such as Medicare and AHCCCS, and must possess a valid DEA License. If you’re dedicated to advancing your knowledge and clinical expertise through research and professional discourse, we’d like to meet you. Pay is depending on experience, PTO and Holiday pay. Responsibilities
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
- Review medical records with Medical Director
- Propose treatments for chronic pain
- Prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their family members on pain management care plans and procedures
- Oversee patients’ overall health
- Promote good health practices
- Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
Skills
- Proven experience as a Physicians assistant in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics
- Team spirit with a positive attitude
- Patience and cool-headedness
- Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
- Valid Physician’s Assistant License
- Master’s degree; PhD is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
