What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at Virtuous Management Group LLC?
Keys duties and responsibilities:
Manage and handle with vendors and internal managers all aspects of the accounts payable process, including processing invoices for payment, recording sales tax, assisting with research to GL accountant bank reconciliations.
Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used.
Follow up workflow processes for the separate associations.
Generate payment to vendors on a routine schedule.
Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
Review and post automatic payments to ensure correct coding and authorization as well as sufficient support.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and work ethics.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in accounts payable required.
This is an office environment position requiring a daily commute to Miramar Beach. It is a full-time position (Monday - Friday - 8 to 5). Employee benefits effective the first on the month following a 30-day waiting period. 401(k) eligible after one year of tenure with enrollment the first day of each quarter.
