- Primary responsibility is to assist persons with disabilities with support, engaging him/her, and remaining actively involved and ensuring all programs and activities are carried out for the benefit of the individual in the community.
- Provide supervision and training to adults with intellectual disabilities to promote each person’s growth toward his/her highest potential while adhering to the individual plan.
- Assist with the development of independent living skills such as mobility, budgeting, community integration, accessing community resources and personal hygiene.
- Provide monitoring as indicated in the Person-Centered Plan.
- Complete appropriate reports and records.
- Assist with preparing meals as needed.
- Use only approved crisis intervention techniques in emergency situations where an immediate health and/or safety concern is present.
- Treats individuals serviced with dignity and respect at all time.
- Ensure medications are administered in accordance with the MTTP.
- Assumes other duties, responsibilities as needed and as agreed upon by management.
Salary : $17 - $19
