Virtuous Boss is seeking a creative and energetic Drama Instructor to lead our elementary after-school program. This is a hands-on, high-energy role where you'll help students express themselves, build confidence, and explore the world of storytelling, acting, and performance. Key ResponsibilitiesLead Engaging Drama Activities
Plan and facilitate drama curriculum, including acting exercises, improvisation games, storytelling activities, and introductory stage performance skills.
Transform drama concepts into fun, interactive games and mini-performances that spark imagination.
Celebrate student creativity and participation through the program's incentive system (e.g., bead rewards).
Engage and Inspire Students
Encourage self-expression, teamwork, and confidence-building through drama activities.
Support students of all skill levels, ensuring everyone feels included and successful.
Create a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment where students feel excited to perform and explore creatively.
Collaborate and Communicate
Provide updates to program staff about student participation and progress.
Work with other instructors and coordinators to integrate drama into the broader after-school program.
Administrative Duties
Track attendance, participation, and student skill development.
Set up and clean up activity materials and performance spaces.
Provide feedback to help improve program activities and student engagement.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; coursework or experience in drama, theater arts, performing arts, or education preferred.
Experience working with elementary-aged children in drama, educational, or recreational settings.
Strong understanding of age-appropriate drama and performance activities.
Excellent communication, stage presence, and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Work Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time: Monday or Wednesday, 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Competitive hourly rate based on experience
