What you'll do:
This is a part-time online role with flexible hours for a Full Stack Software Engineer Intern, preferably a University of Florida Student. The Full Stack Software Engineer Intern will be responsible for developing the front-end and back-end of a basic React-based web application. Day-to-day tasks will include writing and testing code, debugging programs, and be involved in software deployment and performance monitoring.
What you bring to the table:
- Interest or experience in AI-assisted development, including Claude or other code-agentic tools for rapid prototyping and iteration.
- Solid understanding of Back-End Web Development and modern SWE practices.
- Proficiency in programming and object-oriented design (e.g., Python, TypeScript, or C ).
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with efficient, scalable solutions.
- Experience working with front-end frameworks (React, Next.js) and utility-first styling tools such as Tailwind CSS for rapid, consistent UI development.
- Familiarity with API integration, database management, and full-stack development workflows.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
- Currently pursuing a degree in CS or a related field, or possessing relevant experience
