Role Description This is a contract, onsite Urologist role based in Lafayette, IN. The Urologist will provide 7 consecutive days of in-person urologic coverage. Your priority is to operate. Elective, bread and butter cases that are worked up by a remote board certified urologist and APP. Your teammates. You will handle any ER and inpatient consultations. The role involves collaborating with the local health systems to ensure continuity of care and optimizing access for underserved populations. The Urologist will also support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current board certification in Urology and active, unrestricted medical license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain).
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in general urology, including evaluation and management of common adult urologic conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to expanding access to care for rural and underserved communities, with a patient-centered and culturally sensitive approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to a hybrid team based model.
