Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sycamore SCE Administrator to manage and maintain our Statistical Computing Environment (SCE) used for clinical and statistical analysis. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with the Sycamore platform and a strong background in statistical computing within regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the Sycamore SCE platform to support data analysis and statistical programming workflows.
- Manage user provisioning, access controls, and permissions to ensure secure and compliant access to data and tools.
- Integrate and support statistical tools and programming languages such as R, SAS, Python, and others within the SCE environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Biostatistics, Clinical Data Management, and QA to align SCE capabilities with project needs.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with standards such as 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and internal SOPs through implementation of audit trails, documentation, and controlled access.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide ongoing support to end-users.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and configuration guides.
- Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Support data governance by managing data access policies and ensuring secure data workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 5 years of hands-on experience administering Sycamore SCE in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial data workflows and statistical programming requirements.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and audit readiness.
- Experience with Linux-based environments, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and containerization tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-hosted SCE environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Exposure to DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker) used in statistical or data science environments.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security protocols in clinical research.
Salary : $60 - $70
