What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Engineer - GDC position at Virtual Tech Gurus Inc?
We are looking for a Sr. Engineer – GDC with strong experience in VMware, Data Center Infrastructure, Private Cloud, and Federal/DoD environments.
The resource will support the deployment, migration, and ongoing operations of a Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) environment consisting of approximately 200 Virtual Machines, 7 racks, and 14 infrastructure devices
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience with VMware / Virtualized Infrastructure
- Experience with Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) or Private Cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with Data Center Infrastructure, Migration, and Deployment
- Experience with VMware Administration and Infrastructure Monitoring
- Knowledge of Landing Zone Configuration and Network Integration
- Experience working in Federal / Secure environments
- Exposure to ATO, FedRAMP, NIST, SSP, POA&M, and Continuous Monitoring
- Experience with Vulnerability and Compliance Scanning
- Strong troubleshooting and technical documentation skills
