Opportunity:

VSO is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Azure Enclave Administrator to join our team in Lorton, Virginia. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in cloud administration, enclave environments, and security compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure enclave environments within Microsoft Azure.
• Ensure the stability, performance, and security of Azure enclave systems.
• Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure, addressing performance issues and optimizing cloud resources.
• Implement security controls and ensure compliance with relevant government and industry regulations.
• Manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, ensuring least privilege access across enclave systems.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues within Azure environments, providing escalation support as needed.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
• Participate in security audits and contribute to risk assessments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8 years of experience in cloud administration, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working in secure enclave environments and familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, RMF).
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, and Azure Networking.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages.
• Understanding of networking principles, VPNs, firewalls, and secure connectivity.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Requirements

• Must be within driving distance of Lorton, VA, or willing to relocate (Relocation Assistance Package Available).
• Must be willing to work onsite.
• Must have an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements (e.g., Security CE, CCNA Security, etc.).
