Job Description: Assistant Site Director
Reports to: Site Director
Supervises: All Site Personnel
Primary Location: Virtual Campus / Online
Qualifications: Master's Degree or higher. Valid Georgia leadership certification
required. Success and experience with a virtual learning environment
preferred. This position requires availability from 4:00pm – 9:00pm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with site director to establish and maintain an effective learning environment by jointly assuming the designated duties.
- Assist with the planning, organizing, and directing of the implementation of all site activities.
- Assist with supervision of employees and students.
- Conduct intake meetings with all new students and their families.
- Oversee 504 documentation, accommodations, and appropriate meetings.
- Orient newly assigned staff members and assist in their development as instructors.
- Conduct staff meetings to keep members informed of policy changes, new programs, procedural expectations, etc.
- Assist with maintaining proper student conduct and discipline.
- Communicate with parents and guardians as necessary.
- Assist with the monitoring of student progress, and notify the site director and otherappropriate individuals when progress is behind the anticipated schedule.
- Implement an academic program that meets or exceeds all goals set by the Governance
- Board and Superintendent.
- Prepare or supervise the preparation of reports, records, lists, and all other paperworkrequired or appropriate to the site's administration.
- Other duties as assigned.
