Role Description The IT Support Specialist is a full-time role based in Akron, OH. This role provides day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, and basic networked devices, responding to help desk tickets and user requests in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring systems and applications, and maintaining accurate documentation of support activities. The IT Support Specialist will collaborate with the broader IT team to ensure stable and secure environments for clients, assist with onboarding new users, and support ongoing system upgrades and improvements. Regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders is expected, requiring clear communication and a strong customer service mindset.
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills for resolving user issues and managing support requests.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting across hardware, software, and basic network environments.
- Hands-on experience with Desktop Computers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Foundational knowledge of Information Technology principles, systems, and security best practices.
