Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing equipment within a manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of industrial machinery and systems. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters to identify issues accurately.
• Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage control systems, and high voltage equipment to ensure seamless production flow.
• Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments and welding techniques, including welding when necessary.
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment history.
• Support field service operations by diagnosing problems on-site with industrial machinery such as scissor lifts or HVAC/R systems.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain safety standards by adhering to electrical safety protocols, working with high voltage systems, and following lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility or similar environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and schematics interpretation.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, electrical troubleshooting including low voltage systems, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks, maintenance procedures, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Knowledge of field service operations involving customer interactions and technical sales support is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork.
• Industrial mechanic experience combined with strong analysis skills enhances your suitability for this role.
• Military background or experience in related technical fields is advantageous due to disciplined approach and technical expertise.
