Reporting structure:
- Reports to the Test Supervisor
- Functionally test and troubleshoot all sub-assemblies, finished product, rework, and repairs using automated test equipment, software, oscilloscope, multimeters.
- Understand test results, reporting on failures, and working supervisor and team to troubleshoot issues when they occur.
- Set up test equipment to ensure equipment and tools are calibrated and functioning properly.
- Interpret work instructions, drawings, schematics to be able to perform tests and troubleshooting activities.
- Understand IPC requirements.
- Support our ESD & FOD control polices.
- Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Be able to interpret work instructions, schematics drawings, travelers in relation to products being tested.
- Working knowledge of electronic components and their application.
- Ability to use basic hand tools used in the electronics industry.
- Experience with these key electronics testing equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer.
- Able to fit with company culture, teamwork, and professional communication.
- Required education and experience:
- High school diploma or six months’ work-related experience
- IPC 610 (latest rev) certification, preferred
- 1-3 years of experience work in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
- A description of the physical demands:
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit or stand for full 8-hour shift.
- A description of the work environment:
- Electronics manufacturing.
- Work within a team or as an individual contributor.
- A description of Safety Requirements:
- Safety Glasses required when washing boards, trimming leads, and soldering boards.
- ESD environment - ESD smocks, wrist and heel straps are worn to perform work.
