Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation meet standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages to ensure smooth operations.
- Operate POS systems such as Toast accurately for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing and change distribution
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, alcohol service, and responsible beverage service practices.
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere suitable for diverse venues such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a bartender in settings like fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet events is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and measuring drink ingredients precisely.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with an approachable attitude that makes guests feel welcome.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days in a fast-paced environment.
