Location: Temple, TX
Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment
Viron International manufactures stainless steel duct systems and industrial air cleaning equipment for corrosion-sensitive environments. We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support our production team in Temple, TX.
Position Overview
The Materials Handler ensures raw materials and finished products move efficiently through the shop. This role directly supports welders and fabricators by staging materials, maintaining organization, and assisting with shipping and receiving.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify stainless steel sheets, fittings, and hardware
- Operate forklift to move and stage materials for production
- Load finished ductwork and equipment for shipment
- Maintain organized inventory locations
- Assist with cycle counts and basic inventory tracking
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Follow OSHA and shop safety procedures
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently
- Comfortable working in an industrial metal fabrication setting
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Industrial environment. PPE required. Overtime available.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
