What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture Delivery Driver position at Viridien?
We are seeking to hire a Furniture Delivery Driver for deliveries and warehouse functions for our Greenville, SC location. This position will be responsible for completing local deliveries, pulling product, assembly and unwrapping product, and loading/unloading trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick and pack customer orders for delivery
- Safeguard inventory and other company assets at all times. Ensure proper security of warehouse and product on the truck.
- Load trucks properly to protect all products from damages.
- Safely drive a box truck and deliver furniture.
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly vehicle
- Assemble and organize furniture as needed
- Communicates with others appropriately
- Assemble and unwrap product for display at customers' homes
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of driving a box truck experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift at least 80 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow directions and accept feedback from management
Work Schedule will be Tuesday- Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
