Bartender and Server

NOTE: This role requires that the successful candidate perform all FOH positions during a shift, including hosting, serving, bartending, and barbacking. 

Viridian is a craft cocktail bar and restaurant located in Uptown Oakland offering contemporary Asian-American
dishes and desserts. Our award-winning establishment has received recognition from Forbes, Esquire, SF Chronicle, and more. We are looking for a part-time bartender/server to join our passionate and hospitality-driven team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor
• Passionate about food and cocktails

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Run drinks to guests
• Ensure wells have items and materials needed to operate efficiently
• Wash and polish glassware
• Greet or welcome everyone, warmly with a smile
• Establish/anticipate needs
• Bus dishes and glassware
• Wipe tables and keep areas clean
• Perform rotational duty as server, bartender, host, and barback
• Keep guests water glasses filled
• Make cocktails for guests and tickets
• Help close down bar
• Removal of trash
