Reporting to the Executive Director, Pricing, Contracting & Trade, the Senior Director, Pricing & Contracting will be responsible for developing and executing pricing, government reporting, and contracting strategies to support launch readiness and ongoing commercial success. The Senior Director will ensure compliance with all government price reporting obligations, manage gross-to-net forecasting and analytics, oversee rebate and contract administration, and support strategic pricing decisions through the company’s Pricing Committee.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ASP stewardship, Medicare Part B reimbursement, and pricing operations. This role will also lead pricing research efforts to inform pricing strategy and optimize product value positioning.
This role is fully remote. Travel to headquarters for meetings may be required at the discretion of management.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Pricing Strategy, Research & Governance
- Define and evolve the enterprise pricing strategy, governance framework, and decision-making processes to support launch readiness, portfolio growth, lifecycle management, and long-term business objectives.
- Lead the cross-functional Pricing Committee and drive alignment among senior leaders regarding complex pricing, reimbursement, and contracting decisions, facilitating informed trade-off discussions and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Develop and lead talent, cultivate a high-performing team culture, and ensure effective allocation of resources across pricing operations, analytics, research, and strategic initiatives while driving execution against key business priorities.
- Oversee pricing research strategy, including analogue analysis, payer and provider pricing benchmarks, value drivers, and market access trends; ensure insights are translated into actionable recommendations
- Monitor regulatory changes, competitive landscape, reimbursement rates, and ASP trends to anticipate risks and opportunities and inform pricing strategy
- Partner with Finance, Market Access, and Commercial leadership to shape pricing scenarios, GTN forecasts, profitability analyses, and leadership decision materials
- Provide senior-level guidance on payer and provider contracting strategies to optimize market access while maintaining compliance, ASP stewardship, and profitability
Government Pricing
- Own the government pricing operating model, including oversight of processes for calculating, validating, documenting, and submitting required government prices such as ASP, BP, AMP, 340B, FSS/VA
- Provide leadership oversight of internal and external partners supporting government price reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and accountability across workstreams
- Ensure compliance with all CMS, Medicaid, and state-level pricing transparency requirements, including escalation of risks and recommendations to senior leadership as appropriate
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve SOPs, controls, and governance routines to mitigate compliance risk and support audit readiness
Contracting & Rebate Administration
- Lead development, governance, and ongoing refinement of GTN models to forecast and monitor discounts, rebates, fees, and other price concessions
- Oversee rebate and contract administration activities, ensuring appropriate controls, documentation, and coordination across Finance, Legal, Market Access, and external vendors
- Translate GTN trends, price erosion, payer mix, and contracting performance into strategic insights and recommendations for leadership
- Partner with Finance on accrual methodology, reporting, audit support, and executive-level variance explanations
State Pricing Transparency
- Lead strategy, submission, and compliance for state drug price transparency reporting across applicable jurisdictions
- Oversee monitoring of evolving state requirements and guide proactive compliance readiness, including prioritization and delegation of activities to internal team members and external partners
