What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical IT Support Specialist position at VIRGINIA WOMENS CENTER INC?

Monitors incoming help desk chats and phone calls to assist end-users with timely resolution, or redirects issues to appropriate staff.

Provides essential end-user support across multiple systems, including password resets, phone application troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.

Performs basic troubleshooting for end-users experiencing printer, browser, or Electronic Health Record (EHR) system issues.

Advise clinical/IT staff on steps taken when user issues remain unresolved.

Performs routine audits, including review of scheduled and automated reports to identify and resolve errors and discrepancies.

Monitors daily system backups and archive EHR charts as needed.

Manage and process requests from multiple group email and fax inboxes, verifying information, entering necessary updates, and forwarding to the correct personnel.

Assist with IMQM management and annual Roster verification reporting.

Support the development and maintenance of EHR reports as requested.

Maintain the strictest confidentiality of all information.

Attend required meetings and perform related duties and special projects as requested. Complies with Virginia Women’s Center’s policies and procedures. Follows guidelines required by HIPAA and OSHA regulations. Maintains appropriate attendance and punctuality as defined by Virginia Women’s Center.

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school

One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
