Body Shop Technician / Wreck Repair Specialist / Painter
1 | SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for performing a variety of duties primarily supporting our heavy-duty truck body shop. Ideally, has experience as a Painter and can offer back-up support for the department.
2 | MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Able to repair a wide variety of body repairs on heavy duty trucks and other equipment. The ideal candidate has worked in an established Body shop or at a Truck dealership. Ideally, a minimum of 5 years’ experience but will train individuals with less experience. The ideal candidate will have experience as a car, truck or heavy equipment wreak repair specialist.
- Experienced Body Technician with repair experience. Truck, Automobile, RV or Heavy Equipment experience needed.
- Able to remove damaged fenders and panels. Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using wrenches or welding equipment.
- Experienced Wreck Repair Specialist. Able to completely prep a Truck, Car, RV or heavy equipment for painting.
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces.
- Able to perform small and large body repairs to any RV, truck, or box van.
- Able to complete minor mechanical and electrical repairs
- Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
- Experience as a Painter is a plus.
- Able to embrace our Safety Culture and Policies.
- Must have own basic Tools available.
- Ideal to have frame machine experience.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate should have a strong background working for an established Truck, Car or RV body shop or heavy-duty truck or car dealership as a wreck repair specialist.
3 | ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to our Body Shop Manager. Able to support all other departments as needed to support our customers experience and meeting their expectations.
