The hour wage Event Assistant will provide support and assistance to the Director and staff of the Hahn Horticulture Garden with a focus on event coordination. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Good communication skills and outstanding customer service; Extremely reliable, self-motivated, creative, and detail-oriented; Willing to work late nights and weekends, depending on event schedule, oftentimes without supervision; Enthusiastic and professional; Comfortable with public speaking; Experience with computer programs, especially Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with event planning and coordination; Experience working with diverse clientele.

- Respond to event inquiries
- Assist with logistics and required paperwork for events
- Provide a presence and support during events
- Maintain files and submit required forms to meet deadlines

- Coordinate tours, education and outreach programs
