As S&T Partnership Manager for VT-ARC’s Partnership Intermediary (PI) program for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), you will be the strategic technology leader that drives efforts to accelerate the transition of scientific discoveries to the warfighter, build national security innovation ecosystems, strengthen the STEM workforce pipeline, and align partnerships to mission priorities. This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to be a catalyst for change, a bridge between visions, and a key architect in our journey toward success.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Leverage deep expertise in Air Force innovation ecosystem to identify and develop partnerships across academia, industry, and government agencies
- Provide strategic direction to a team of project managers, analysts, and collaboration specialists to ensure PI activities align with mission objectives
- Guide partnering activities to align research, innovation activities, and ecosystem initiatives with the evolving missions of the DAF and broader DoD enterprise
- Assess the effectiveness of partnerships, identifying areas for improvement
- Master’s degree or higher in STEM field (science, technology, engineering, and math). PhD preferred
- 10 years of strategic business and/or partnership experience, preferrable within the Air Force innovation ecosystem
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning to guide technology development or commercialization
- Demonstrated experience in managing multi-million-dollar budgets and diverse teams
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills to ensure clear, accurate information and effective collaboration
- Strong commercial and technology awareness with the ability to identify and develop opportunities, especially in the Federal government space
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong leadership skills and traits

Primary Work Location:
- Work is to be performed fully onsite in Arlington, VA.
- Possible travel to other CONUS locations.
- Occasional work outside of corporate core business hours.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain & hold a Secret clearance.
- Active Top-Secret clearance is desired but not required.
- $180,000/yr-$190,000/yr
