This position requires the ability to teach, counsel, supervise, evaluate, and maintain records of students in the clinical portion of the Respiratory Therapy Program. Must have an excellent understanding of respiratory anatomy and physiology, pathology, and clinical procedures. Must function as a role model in the clinical setting demonstrating a high degree of professionalism.

KSA's/Required Qualifications
- Experience in clinical practice.
- National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Current unencumbered license from the Virginia State Board of Medicine as a Respiratory Therapist
- Membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC).
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification for Basic Life support (BLS).
- Associate Degree (or higher) in Respiratory Therapy from a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CO”ARC) accredited program.
