What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Construction / Concrete Foreman position at VIRGINIA RIGGERS INC?
Virginia Riggers, Inc. (VRI), an industrial contractor established in 1994, is looking for an Experienced Concrete Finisher/Carpenter. Based in Winchester, VA, VRI is a VOSB, family owned and operated, and we see our employees and customers as an extension of our family.
CONCRETE FINISHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of ALL types of concrete finishing from slabs, walls, footings, and structural slabs
- Knowledge and ability for simple layout of box-outs, wall lines, and misc. openings
- Ability to operate machinery
- Knowledge of excavation procedures and techniques
- Lead a crew and train others to finish concrete
- 2 years’ experience on construction concrete crew
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Perform job tasks safely with safety being a priority
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
