Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wash Bay Attendant to join our poultry facility team in Hinton, VA. The Wash Bay Attendant will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, vehicles, and work areas to ensure compliance with food safety and biosecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize poultry transport vehicles, equipment, and wash bay areas according to established protocols.
• Operate pressure washers, cleaning tools, and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment for cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow all biosecurity and safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation as required.
• Assist with general facility upkeep and support other team members as needed.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in cleaning, sanitation, or a related role is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions carefully.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends if required.
