This role is responsible for creating a positive patient experience and building a positive work environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Confirm and update patient identification, demographic, and insurance information.
- Prepare patient charts and documentation for upcoming appointments.
- Perform all check-in and check-out functions, including collecting necessary information and payments.
- Obtain patient consents/authorizations and process insurance pre-authorizations and referrals.
- Answer incoming calls promptly, document messages, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized medical records.
- Support overall front-office operations and assist with other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- Two (2) years of customer service experience, required.
- Experience with oral surgery or in a medical or dental practice, preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance processes, preferred.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
