Job Duties
This full-time, in-person position includes the responsibilities of teaching all levels of Arabic (3-3), scholarship, professional citizenship activities, and mentoring students.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum requirements include a Ph.D. in Arabic, Arabic Studies, or a related field. Ph.D. must be in hand by the start of the appointment, and a native or near-native fluency in Arabic (MSA a dialect) and English. Specialization is open but preference will be given to Arabic pedagogy, Arabic linguistics, and Arabic literature.

- Salary commensurate with experience for the assistant professor position in Arabic.
