Pay Range
$22.68 - $33.03 /hour
As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments and deliveries.
Every day you will verify contents against purchase orders, identify and report discrepancies or damages, and organize received goods for proper distribution or storage.
To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, efficient organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting smooth operations.
- Receives supplies from vendors; verifies and counts against packing lists and freight bills to ensure correctness of shipment.
- Fills stock requisition orders and delivers to requesting department.
- Enters receiving information into inventory management system in accordance with department procedures.
- Breaks down stock items in break-out area and stores in designated locations in storeroom.
- Maintains storeroom/work area in a neat and clean condition.
Job Requirements
- Any combination of experience and education that would demonstrate the capability to perform the duties of the position.
- Previous purchasing experience preferred
