What You'll Do
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related discipline.

The Opportunity
The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for assisting in evolving the organization's data governance program. This role combines technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership to ensure data quality, integrity, and protection across the enterprise. The position will collaborate with Data Stewards, Data Owners, IT, and business units to implement governance policies, manage data assets, and promote best practices in data management.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain data inventories, metadata, and data lineage documentation.
- Meet and collaborate with data governance stakeholders and attend Data Governance Council.
- Assist with managing the data governance platform including data cataloging, classification, and access tools.
- Brainstorm and maintain compliance with documentation standards and processes with data governance strategies, workflows, and policies across the organization.
- Establish and maintain data quality and protection standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist and define data quality rules, metrics and thresholds in partnership with Data Owners and Data Stewards
- Document and maintain governance procedures related to data quality, retention, security, and change management.
- Monitor and review data loss prevention policies and unstructured datasets.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality, and data protection practices.
- Familiarity with SQL, VQL, and data governance (DMBOK) or business intelligence tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships across departments.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with data governance platform (Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica or related software platform)
- Knowledge of AI technologies and ethical principles
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
