Our growing mental health private practice is seeking a group therapist who values high-quality care, professional growth, and a positive team culture. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of counseling techniques and a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges and improve their mental well-being in a group setting. This role will play an integral part in our Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programming.

Specific Elements and Essential Functions:
- Provides initial and ongoing mental health assessments for clients with complex needs.
- Demonstrates objectivity and the ability to prioritize.
- Facilitates psychotherapy and psycho-educational services to enhance skills and promote wellness.
- Collaborates with the health care team to develop treatment goals and interventions that assist the client in resolving psychosocial concerns that may arise.
- Provides group therapy to enhance the clients' problem-solving and coping skills. Counsels clients regarding safety and treatment plans.
- Documents assessments, treatment goals, interventions, outcomes, and plans in a client's electronic medical record, congruent with company policies.
- Maintains current knowledge of trends related to mental health care issues through attendance and active participation in continuing education and professional organizations.
- Completes administrative tasks as required
Experience:
Required: Experience in leading therapeutic services, including individual, couples, and group therapy. Understand the importance of documentation and developing and executing clinical treatment plans.
Preferred: Knowledge and background using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy tools, specialized techniques for anxiety and trauma groups.
Education:
- Required: Master's Degree in Counseling, Education, or Psychology from an accredited school.
Licensure:
- LPC, LMFT, or current resident license as appropriate or license eligible.
