QMHP Career Change Opportunity: Become a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC)
IMPORTANT: THIS IS NOT A TRAINING PROGRAM
Virginia Family Services is seeking motivated professionals who are ready to take the next step in their behavioral health careers by pursuing certification as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC).
This opportunity is for individuals who have ALREADY completed the required 120 hours of Board-approved didactic training and are seeking clinical supervision and employment experience needed to pursue CSAC certification through the Virginia Board of Counseling.

You must meet BOTH of the following requirements:
✔ You are currently a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
✔ You have already completed the required 120 hours of Board-approved CSAC didactic training
Virginia Family Services does not provide the 120 hours of required didactic training.
This is an employment and supervision opportunity designed to help qualified candidates gain the supervised experience necessary to advance toward CSAC certification.
