What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Front Desk Scheduler - Tri-Cities/Chester position at Virginia Family Dentistry?
Virginia Family Dentistry is looking for an Orthodontic Front Desk professional to join our Tri-Cities/Chester team! This position works at two locations.
Pay range for this position is $17-25/hr. Pay is contingent on experience.
Typical work hours are 4.5 days per week, 8am-5pm (half day on Friday).
Duties
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
· Review doctor's schedule daily to fill any open appointment times. Monitor changes continuously throughout the day as schedule changes to fill open times
· Confirm, schedule, and follow up on unscheduled appointments
· Answer telephones and check office emails daily
· Run necessary patient reports and make follow up and treatment calls
· Ensure all patient appointment information is up to date
· Assist other team members as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
-1 or more years of orthodontic office experience

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
