The Program Support Technician will provide a variety of technical and administrative support services to the assigned regional office within DEQ. This recruitment is a readvertisement. Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities will include assisting clients, providing word processing services, processing both incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintaining compliance, and files. This position also administers FOIA activities within the region and may support other regional administrative duties, as needed, such as vehicle use logs. Performs database management by maintaining regional databases. Provides periodic status and compliance reports from Agency databases within time allotted by agency and regional policy. Provides customer assistance by handling telephone and email queries.

Qualifications
- Working knowledge of office practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of and experience with word processing and report preparation using computers.
- Working knowledge of database operation and management, personal computer operations (word processing; spreadsheet; database software).
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills to include proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Demonstrated ability to perform a wide variety of secretarial and support functions.
