Job Description
The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, profitability, growth, and daily operations of a Culligan dealership. This role oversees all departments including sales, service, installation, delivery, customer service, collections, inventory, and administration. The General Manager is accountable for achieving revenue goals, maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction, developing employees, and ensuring operational excellence while protecting the Culligan brand.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can balance people, processes, and performance while creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer-first service.
Essential ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop all branch employees.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-focused culture.
- Address employee performance issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures.
Financial Management
- Manage branch profitability and operating expenses.
- Develop and execute plans to achieve revenue and margin goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, service revenue, collections, and recurring revenue.
- Review financial reports and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain accountability for budgeting and cost controls.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive residential, commercial, bottled water, and service sales growth.
- Support and coach the sales team to achieve individual and branch goals.
- Monitor lead conversion, closing percentages, and sales activity.
- Develop local marketing and community outreach opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Operations Management
- Oversee scheduling, routing, installations, service calls, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Ensure technicians and installers maintain high quality standards.
- Monitor productivity and efficiency across all departments.
- Maintain proper inventory controls and purchasing procedures.
- Ensure company vehicles, facilities, and equipment are properly maintained.
Customer Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns and service issues.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and retention metrics.
- Promote a culture that prioritizes customer loyalty and long-term relationships.

QualificationsRequired

Preferred
- Experience in water treatment, home services, HVAC, plumbing, appliance, or route-based service industries.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.
