Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with ticket counter and inbound phone sales for Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Baseball and other special events using the Paciolan Ticketing System
- Participate in Men’s Basketball game day operations by overseeing will call and conducting walk-up sales
- Assist with reconciliation of event sales and help with reporting of revenue generation, event attendance and ticket-related donations
- Serve as Box Office manager and supervise game day ticket operations for assigned sports
- Build events, promo codes, group sales links and other ticketed items to sell on VCUAthletics.com
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director and Assistant Director for Ticket Operations
Minimum Qualifications
- Acceptance into a VCU graduate program
- Prior work experience in intercollegiate athletics
- Strong customer service skills and organizational skills
- Experience in cash handling
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle to transport self and student workers to off-campus events
- Evening and weekend hours required; 20-25 hours per week.
