Mission or Goal of Unit: To provide Rheumatology services locally to the residents of Southside Virginia, improve access to care, reduce patient travel, and diagnose and treat complex conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system and connective tissues.
Chief Purpose of this position: The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology is seeking a full-time Rheumatologist at the VCU-CMH Campus in South Hill, VA to join an established clinic.
Duties & Responsibilities
Clinical - Outpatient clinic only and no call coverage required.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Successful completion of a post graduate training program in rheumatology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or equivalent
- Current certification or active participation in the examination process leading to certification in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
