Job Overview
Virginia Bath Works is growing, and we're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our bathroom remodeling team.
You'll work alongside our Project Manager, assisting with bathroom renovations, demolition, framing, material handling, and general installation work.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut lumber, plywood, and other building materials.
- Assist with framing, demolition, and bathroom installations.
- Safely operate saws, drills, and other power tools.
- Lift and carry heavy materials, including up and down stairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Assist the Project Manager with daily tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Basic construction knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Familiarity with circular saws and common power tools.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Reliable transportation to Suffolk or designated meeting locations.
Schedule & Compensation:
- $20 - $24 per hour. Based on experience.
- Minimum 30 hours per week.
- Opportunities for additional hours as business grows.
- Jobs throughout Southside Hampton Roads, typically meeting at a designated Home Depot or Lowe's before traveling to the job site.
